I was born and raised in Salina, KS and graduated from Ell-Saline Jr/Sr High School.
I received my bachelors degree from Fort Hays State University in Elementary Education in May of 2001 and received my Masters
degree in Special Education K-12 in May of 2003.
My teaching career began in August of 2004 in Hays, KS. For the next five years I was a resource room teacher at Wilson Elementary.

In May 2009, my family and I moved to Mankato, KS. My husband and
I have two awesome boys, Daniel is completing his second year at NCK of Beloit. majoring in Information Technology and Cooper is a Junior.

This will be my 5th year will be my 5th year of teaching Special Education grades 6-12.
